Recurring Characters

Mega Man
“Hey, do you get the feeling we’re being watched?”
Everyone’s favourite blue hero! He’s kind, valiant, and innocent, the hero of a continuing war against the mad Dr. Wily. Unfortunately, all the same traits that make him a lovable hero also make him a perfect target for abuse, most frequently from Bass, who thoroughly enjoys tormenting our favourite blue bot during lulls in the fighting. He’s been the victim of a run-away bungee cord with delusions of being a vaulting pole, Bass’ ongoing pun attacks, and Proto Man’s desire to pay him back for turning Bass loose on him. What does the future hold in store for our hero…? More abuse, most likely.

Protoman
“As entertaining as that was, I’m afraid I still have to kick your ass.”
With his familiar shades, scarf, and whistle, Blues is always cool and collected no matter the situation. He’s knowledgeable about the goings-on of both Dr. Light and Dr. Wily, having been on both sides, but currently aids Rock in his fight against Wily by handing out helpful hints and items. However, while he prefers to stick to the side-lines, when there’s a lull in the fighting he has no problem occasionally assisting either Mega Man or Bass in bothering their rival for shits and giggles. His current target is Mega Man, who has managed to do the nigh-impossible; completely piss him off.

Bass
“Does this mean high-yield explosives are out, too?”
Despite being newer to the scene, Bass is more than making up for his late arrival by being an arrogant pain-in-the-ass at every opportunity. He despises Mega Man, but since the fighting has apparently fallen into a (temporary) cease-fire and he can’t completely decimate him, he’s taken to aggravating him using puns and slapstick, with some assistance from Proto Man. One of his favourite methods of torturing the Blue Bomber is his “Pun Attacks”. Another is just randomly firing him across the room. (He’s not picky.)

Rush
“Can I go now?”
Mega Man’s faithful companion, Rush adamantly believes that Mega can take care of himself, and should thusly leave him the hell alone so he can nap in peace. He “helped” Proto Man stop the runaway bungee cord, but hasn’t been seen since. Will he be back? More importantly, will he get to finish his nap?

Zerostar
“Let’s play laser tag!”
One half of a crazy traveling duo, she and her partner, Shadowstar, have become friends (of sorts) with Mega Man and company during their many visits to his area. While she and Shadowstar look similar, they’re practically polar opposites; she’s kind and fun-loving, always ready to lend a hand, while Shadowstar is grumpy and mean-spirited, only willing to do something if it’ll be profitable or entertaining. Unfortunately, they share a somewhat warped sense of humor. Abusing Mega Man, or helping Bass abuse him in their stead, is a favourite pass-time for them.

Shadowstar
“How dare he dodge when we’re shooting at him?!”
The other half of a crazy traveling duo, she and Zerostar are frequent visitors to Mega Man’s area, and through a strange and somewhat complicated series of events they’ve become friends (kind of) with Mega Man and company. She’s the “dark” half of the duo; she tends to side with Bass rather than Mega Man, while Zerostar prefers Megs’ company. Unfortunately, they share a rather warped sense of humor. Abusing Mega Man, or helping Bass abuse him in their stead, is a favourite pass-time for them.

Rockman
“Normally, I’d protest this unnecessary act of violence, but I want a turn, too.”
While he may look the same, this Blue Bomber is actually an alternate version, meaning he and the bungee-poling Mega Man exist separately from each other. Thusly, this one is called Rockman, or just Rock. While Rock has no experience with the bungee-pole, he has had troubles of his own. He’s currently been “volunteered” by said catapult to help Zerostar and Shadowstar with their n00btorial, but has also been known to appear at the Hallowe’en parties. Apparently, he’s a rabid Star Wars fan.

Blues
“Hey, I DO help Forte.”
Again, this shade-wearing music-loving ‘bot is a different one than the one currently wishing great harm upon Mega Man. While he doesn’t appear often, he makes a point of causing as much relatively-harmless trouble as he can when he does show up. He has taken to aiding Forte in his mission to torture Rock, and recently supplied him with a spiffy new catapult. Made a really bitchin’ Kratos Aurion costume for Hallowe’en in ’05, and has used it every year since.

Forte
“BANZAI!!”
Although he’s a separate version of Bass, his wicked temperament is exactly the same, and his desire to cause as much harm as possible to Rock holds strong. Despite hopping off a bridge to escape Zerostar’s runaway Ride Chaser, he’s still going strong, using his awesome new catapult (supplied by Blues) to torture Rock. He’s been to most of the holiday events, including the Hallowe’en parties and New Years ’05/’06. Lost his favourite ghost costume some time before the ’05 Hallowe’en party, and has vowed revenge against whomever took it.

Zerostar
“Yay! Violence!!”
This is the more commonly seen version of Zerostar. She has an active role in the comics; riding runaway Ride Chasers, chucking pies, mugging Enker (and making off with his armor), abusing highly-combustible n00bs, and being tortured by the unpredictable weather are just a few examples. She is currently assisting with the n00btorial. Always appears at holiday functions, and especially loves the Hallowe’en parties, where she and Shadowstar always appear as a duo. Doesn’t drink, on account of having to deal with the trouble Shadowstar causes when she drinks.

Shadowstar
“You were saying, o b0xx0r’d one?”
Zerostar’s counterpart (and accomplice), Shadowstar enjoys torturing others, and isn’t picky as to who – she especially likes aggravating Zerostar, given the chance. She and Zerostar mugged Enker, and while Zerostar took his armor and Shadowstar took his spear, none of it has been seen since. She is currently helping with the n00btorial, though she’s only had one chance to abuse the n00b. Despite her complaining, she does enjoy the Hallowe’en parties, and secretly loves being in costume. Unfortunately, she’s a light-weight when it comes to drinking – she couldn’t hold her liquor to save her life. Zero calls her the “One-Drop Wonder”.

teh h1ghly c0mbus71bl3 n00b
“lollooal du teh 3gip710n rofl”
Alright, so he doesn’t actually have a name – it’s more of a species classification than a name. He’s a hideously colored misshapen crime against nature boasting the IQ of a dead turnip; in other words, the embodiment of n00bs everywhere. You know who you are! This particular one has had the privilege of being assaulted in two different series.

Minor Characters

Mog
“GREAT MOOGLY GOOGLY!!”
A cute and powerful moogle, poor Mog attracts falling objects of all sorts, be they bovine or otherwise. After being landed on by the falling cow, he donned a Met Helmet that is certifiably cow-proof. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to work against anything else. Apparently knows magics of the painful variety, and has a mortal fear of Artist’s singing.

The Cow
“Speed bump!”
A.K.A the falling cow. Has the strange habit of falling out of the sky at random. Coupled with Mog’s unfortunate streak of bad luck regarding falling objects, the cow has given the poor Moogle a severe phobia of cows and being landed on. Was last seen going 80 in a 50mph zone.

Artist
“~Oh, I wish I was in the land of cotton!~”
A strange young woman who knows Zerostar and Shadowstar, and only appears occasionally, usually with a completely different color scheme. Despite being called “Artist” she isn’t actually anything of the sort. Completely zany and often oblivious to anything going on around her, she’ll do or say almost anything if she thinks it looks fun at the time. Her singing is feared through-out the multiverse.

Enker
“You're getting through here over my dead body.”
Enker is a Rockman Killer. He wields the Mirror Buster, a weapon that absorbs Rockman's Rock Buster shots into his own buster, which is integrated into his spear. Doing so drains his own health in order to fire, but the resulting shot packs a punch. Or at least, it would, if Zerostar and Shadowstar hadn’t stolen his armor and spear. He's currently hiding somewhere, clad only in heart-print boxers.

X and Zero
X: “JUMP!”
Zero: “Dammit, X! You don’t have to say that at EVERY FRIGGIN’ JUMP!!”

Maverick Hunters from the future, X and Zero are both legendary heroes. However, since they’re such good friends, they’re also prone to a lot of teasing regarding their… um, closeness. (As an aside, they’re just friends. They never have been, and never will be “intimate”.) They like to come to the Hallowe’en parties, too, and since it’s always hosted by the VGMT, they can. X was one of the bartenders for both Saint Patrick’s Day 05 and New Year’s Eve 05/06, and both times was able to witness Shadowstar’s amazing inability to hold her liquor. Zero calls her the “One-Drop Wonder”, and enjoys getting tanked and helping her cause trouble.

Axl
“~Somebody told me, that X had a boyfriend, who looks like a girlfriend…!~”
